The British Red Cross prevent people form falling through the gaps in healthcare systems. Their Health Services complement the work of the NHS and provide local and timely support to those who need it.
In this advocacy film, we follow key members of staff on the ground, as they do their work right in the community. The film takes the audience through each service and across the UK. Unscripted interviews and observational scenes shine a light on the gap that the charity fills with its provision, and the real-life positive impact it has.
As an engagement piece for health and social care professionals and decision makers, the goal of the film is to support funding and increase visibility. The statistics segment at the end completes the picture of how much difference the BRC makes, and the importance of funding its services.
Filmed on location in Newport, Nottingham and Cumbria.
