Craftsmanship & Community
Celebrating 20 years of Turquoise Mountain
"Founded in 2006 by His Majesty King Charles III, Turquoise Mountain supports artisans and communities to protect and revitalise their heritage in Afghanistan, Jordan, Myanmar, Palestine and Saudi Arabia.
Join us for a special anniversary exhibition of the craftsmanship and communities at the heart of our work.
Experience hand-woven carpets and textiles, embroidery, jewellery, hand-blown glass, woodwork, ceramics, tilework, stonework, miniature painting and lacquerware, and demonstrations by artisans themselves - all set in the beautifully restored Garrison Chapel, the London exhibition space of the @kingsfoundation.
All the display pieces will be available to order through Turquoise Mountain retail partners or as bespoke commissions, providing income to artisans and contributing to Turquoise Mountain’s wider charitable mission." Text by: TM

Patterns of Faith

"Turquoise Mountain supports artisans and communities to protect and revitalise their heritage. Our work is rooted in the belief that cultural heritage has the power to transform lives. Founded in 2006 by His Majesty King Charles III, we work directly with artisan communities in Afghanistan, Myanmar, Saudi Arabia and the Levant. To date, we have trained over 11,500 artisans, restored more than 170 historic buildings, provided primary healthcare to over 250,000 patients, and education and cultural heritage programmes to over 4,500 children." Text by: TM
