Walking With The Wounded helps veterans struggling to transition back into civilian life. This film gives a voice to Martin, a real-life veteran, whose difficult experiences are representative of many others.
The film follows him through a night shift as an HGV driver. As he travels across the country to see his family, he tells his story of spiraling down to "rock bottom" after leaving the army, and how the charity helped him get through it. The film is built around an unscripted interview, which provided plenty of space for him to share in his own words, and at his own pace.
